Al Wahbah Crater

is the Al Wahbah Crater. The only tourist attraction in Mecca is located in the desert, about 1 mile in length with an 850 foot cliff. The crater is a remnant of volcanic activity and around it are sandy plains that are now covered with palm trees.

The presence of this palm tree gives the visitor a sense of urgency to this place. The myth or folklore that mentions Al Wahbah crater is formed when two mountains love each other.

However, one of the mountains disappeared. It left the depression and formed a cavity in the form of Al-Wahbah crater.
